| Designer
Groups Kate Nei Creations organizes its design staff in functional groups, aligned with each of the five core elements of design. Kate herself oversees each project as Principal Designer. Following the name of each of the designers is their primary office location. |
| Fire
Group Malcolm Hewitt-Journeyman Architect (Durham) Chiro Mas-Apprentice (Durham) Kathryn O'Merle-Apprentice (Dublin) The KNC Fire Group concerns itself with kitchen design, heating and cooling, and flame-specific features such as fireplaces, hearths, even indoor and outdoor lighting (in conjunction with the Light Group). |
| Water
Group Lainee Groves-Journeyman Architect (Durham) David Martoski-Apprentice (Durham) Fabrice Avaine-Apprentice (Nara) The Water Group prides itself in creating the most unique baths, basins, saunas, fountains, aquariums, and pools. Such spaces-be they tranquil or stirring-encourage reflection. Some invite you to swim or keep fish. All harbor voices and feelings of the resident kami, spirits to keep you in good company. |
| Earth
Group Graham Edgerton-Journeyman Architect (Dublin) Ana Dietrich-Apprentice (Dublin) Fidel Hamadi-Apprentice (Nara) Our Earth Group concerns itself with foundations, with gardens, and with overall landscaping of a site. They assist the other groups in choice of materials to compliment the natural elements they use in their work. They often work closely with the Water Group to incorporate pools and fountains into the landscaping, as well as to assure proper irrigation for the biological plants they sometimes use in their designs. |
| Air
Group Danielle "Dani" Chou-Journeyman Architect (Nara) Aubre Nash-Apprentice (Nara) Yannick Newton-Apprentice (Nara) Building on the often disparate components created by the other groups at Kate Nei Creations, the Air Group is responsible for creating coherence. They assemble individual components into a functioning whole. They are also responsible for creating functional and beautiful walls, ceilings, floors, and furnishings. The Air Group instills singular life into every space within and without the living home. |
| Light
Group Miriam Li-Journeyman Architect (Nara) Saska Purim-Apprentice (Durham) Helen Champion-Apprentice (Dublin) Kate often steps in to lead the Light Group herself; however, regardless of whether Miriam or Kate is at the fore, this cadre creates beautiful and unique openings that serve as the eyes in and out of the living home's soul. |
